The Heroes Awards was a bit inspired by the Angel episode "Hero" when it came to naming it, but in a way everyone in the show's have shown some degree of heroeness, either in intention or in act. And where there are heroes there are also tales. Which makes the name fitting. I know the spelling is different, but I'm talking heroes as in all of them, therefore the name is spelled the way it is.

SITE SABBATICAL:
I never thought I would ever experience this, but I have way too much to do, so I am putting the award rounds here on pause. I am *not* closing it down, even if I never opened up the rounds again the site would remain open due to the large amounts of fics archived here.

I hope to one day get back to it, cause you guys are just great. I've loved reading your fics and I want to read more of them.

22nd August with finally announcing the winners. The internet problem hasn't completely been solved, but I've finally managed to get acces through the school connection when I take the laptop with me.

7th July with finally adding the awards that Heroes Awards won from Stinky Yak Cheese Awards along with the comments I got about the site.

16th June with announcing the winners for round 35, the delay was caused by exams.
Also remember that next months round will not take place due to my holiday, but I'll return to judging the month after that. Wish me all luck on my trip to Quor'toth, I'll see you all again soon :)

Note #1: Unfortunatly this means we have a round with no categories eligeble for judging, so please encourage friends to submitt so that this doesn't happen next round.
Note #2: 23rd June to 30th June I will be going to the uk to attend an Angel convention and won't be close to a computer. This mean that next round "May" will go like normal and then there will be 2 months until the round after that. (Like last year with the April round) But I still want you to submitt so that we can have a teriffic round after that.

IMPORTANT NOTICES - The mix-up category is not an AU category. It's a category for fics that mixes real life people with fictional people.

When you nominate a story, continue until you reach the "Thank you" page, to make sure your story has been sent.

Also each piece will be judged only once and if people think I don't have any recalling of what fic's you've submitted and what you've not, you must remember that I archive all fics and once something seems familliar I look it up. If you're unsure what you've submitted, please check up the title in the alphabeticly sorted fanfiction archive and you'll know.

Each piece only have ONE chance, so choose the category fitting, it doesn't matter if you've won or lost. If you wish to try again, send me an other fic.

And for all who wishes to link back to the site, can you please link to the index page? As the version pages changes as I change layouts and the links to them is then no longer valid.
